oka this is really really the last time i’m gonna post about this individual, because while i want to change things, i’m also exhausted. the reason the enslavement of black people is discussed to this day is that the systematic oppression of black people still exist in today’s society, and it is rooted in that enslavement in the western world. we don’t talk about history for the sake of collecting points. we talk about history for the sake of understanding the present.  that is all.
